
To contribute to the readiness and quality of life of the military community at Charleston Air Force Base by providing customer-driven programs and services that promote fitness, family well-being and unit cohesiveness. Manages the base's morale, welfare and recreation activities to include food services, lodging, fitness and sports programs, recreation, library and youth programs. Operates officer and enlisted collocated club, golf course, bowling center and aero club. Conducts comprehensive business financial analysis and reporting. Responsible for base honor guard and mortuary affairs. Maintains two Readiness in Base Services (RIBS) teams to support wartime and peacetime contingencies. Provides administrative liaison for the commissary and base exchange functions, and supports more than 35,000 base personnel, retirees and civilian employees
