The base Skeet & Trap Shoot Range is open for use by all DoD ID card holders and at $3.25 a round, you get a lot of bang for your buck! Range guns and instructors are available or you can use your own shotgun, although shooters do need to bring their own shells (71/2 to 9 shot). Families are always welcome and reservations are not required for individuals or small groups. Don’t forget the range is a great alternative location to host a unit or organization fundraiser. Presently, the range is open Tuesday, 1 p.m. until dusk, and Saturday and Sunday, 1 p.m. to dusk. Call the range at 963-6137 during these hours for more details.
