The is for children ages five to twelve, designed to care for the children of working parents in their out-of-school time. The program runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and features structured and unstructured educational and leisure activities, including arts and crafts, games, sports, sewing and cooking activities.
Children enrolled will also have access to our multi-media learning center. The learning center will provide school-age children with a varied range of learning opportunities such as: computer familiarization, educational software, and homework assistance with availability of varied resources including books, pamphlets, and educational tapes for VCR usage on various subjects.
USDA-approved meals and snacks are provided to all participants. Transportation is provided to and from Hunley Park and Lambs Elementary schools. Pick-up only transportation is provided from Eagles Nest and Fort Dorchester Elementary schools.
This program does not operate on Federal government holidays, but provides a full-day program from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. when school is closed due to teacher workshops. Please note that enrolled children's attendance is limited to ten hours per day.
Note: Full-day Holiday, Spring Break and Summer Day Camps will be scheduled with adjusted rates.
- The School Age Program is for children of active duty military, DoD civilians and activated reservists
- Ages six to 12, as well as five-year-olds attending Kindergarten, are eligible for the program

- Statement of household income: most recent LES or Pay Statements are accepted. (These papers are required to assess your weekly fees, without a pay statement, the highest category fee will be assessed.)
- Proof of school enrollment if spouse is in school
- AF Form 357 for all single parent active duty military and dual active duty military families (available through Squadron First Sergeant or Commander)
- Completed application for DoD child care fees
- Completed USDA Food Programs enrollment form
- Completed Emergency Information list
